At Playmakers Lacrosse, we understand that our members may occasionally need to take a break from training. To support our athletes while ensuring the sustainability of our programs, we offer a flexible membership pause policy.
 

1. Eligibility

• Members may pause their membership for a minimum of one (1) month and a maximum of four (4) months per calendar year.

• Pause requests must be submitted at least three (3) days before the next billing cycle.
   

2. Pause Fee

The pause fee helps ensure that Playmakers Lacrosse can continue providing high-quality training, maintaining facilities, and retaining experienced coaches—even during slower seasons, ensuring that when members return, they step back into the same high-quality program without disruption.

• A maintenance fee of $10 per month will be charged during the pause period.

• Memberships on pause are still eligible for a 15% member discount on clinics or special events.

• If a member cancels instead of pausing and chooses to rejoin later, they will be required to pay the $70 startup fee, which includes system setup, a jersey, a t-shirt, and a bag ID card. 
   

3. Reactivation & Automatic Resumption

• Memberships will automatically resume at the end of the requested pause period.

• Members will receive an email notification one week before reactivation as a reminder.

4. Alternative Options

Instead of pausing, members can switch to a lower-tier membership during slow periods to stay engaged while lowering costs. Continuing membership offers access to in-season training, including:

• Foundational skill development for newer players that’s hard to achieve in team practices.

• Position-specific training for experienced players, focusing on offense, defense, goalkeeping, and face-offs, so they can apply new skills for their teams this season.
   

5. Request Process

• To request a pause, members must complete the Membership Pause Request Form on our website.

• Requests are subject to approval, and confirmation will be sent via email.
