We are committed to growing the game of lacrosse by providing new players with an easy and fun way to get started. That’s why we proudly offer free hosting of up to two TryLax events for local youth lacrosse associations per year.
Here’s what we provide:
✔ Facility space at no cost for the event
✔ Lacrosse equipment for players to use during the session
✔ A structured, engaging introduction to lacrosse fundamentals

Our goal is to make it simple for associations to introduce lacrosse to new players while removing barriers to entry. Let’s work together to grow the game!

Holiday Lacrosse Special Sessions
Looking for something fun and productive over the holiday break?
Join us at Playmakers Lacrosse for specialty sessions that focus on building skills, learning new techniques, and putting them into action with a scrimmage!

Monday, December 23

These sessions are designed to give players a well-rounded experience by rotating through specialized zones before finishing with a scrimmage.
​
Session Schedule

9:30–11:00 AM: 8-10U Boys
-
11:15–12:45 PM: 12-14U Boys
-
1:00–2:30 PM: 12-14U Girls
-
2:45–4:15 PM: 8-10U Girls
What to Expect
Players will rotate through these focused zones for 45 minutes of specialized training.
After zone training, players will come together for a 35-minute scrimmage to apply their skills in game-like scenarios.

Exclusive Small-Group Clinic with Coach MacKenzie Plaskey

Playmakers Lacrosse is excited to offer an incredible opportunity to train with MacKenzie Plaskey, the Associate Head Coach for Women’s Lacrosse at Florida State University.

Why Join These Sessions?
This clinic offers a fun and challenging opportunity to learn from a top D1 women’s lacrosse coach. Players will focus on:

Key Fundamentals: Building a strong foundation in the game.

Proper Technique: Sharpening skills with attention to detail.

Team Concepts: Understanding strategies and working as a cohesive unit.​

Led by a coach who has built championship-winning teams and developed countless athletes, this is an incredible opportunity to elevate skills and confidence in a small-group setting.

Session Details

6:00–7:30 PM: Grad years 2027 & 2026 (current sophomores & juniors)
-
7:30–9:00 PM: Grad years 2030–2028 (current 7th, 8th graders, and freshmen)
Cost: $75 per player
